Mr Taverna has been serving clients for over 35 years.
FSI is operated as an S Corporation by Mr. Rod Taverna.
FSI operates a subsidiary, Best Discount Benefits, which was formed to provide non-insurance supplemental benefits to groups and associations.
Rod has a BA from the University of Missouri and an MBA in Financial Management from National University in California. He is a retired Marine Corps officer, and has been listed for many years in Who's Who in America and Who's Who in the West. He was presented with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award by Marquis Who's Who. He is insurance licensed in VA, CA and numerous other States. Mr. Taverna also taught a course in Debt Management at Mira Costa College in San Diego, CA for many years.
Mr. Taverna is also the founder of the SMART Consumer Group, an educational organization which provides consumer and financial planning information to companies, groups, associations, government and military personnel.
